Made it in the local newspaper yesterday. The article was about the Pro Wakeboard tour coming to Lake Norman this June. It should be an awesome event.
2nd Place at the Malibu Pro Card Qualifier
The Malibu Pro Card by the WWA is a new event for the 2013 season. This year you have to qualify for a “pro card” to enable you to ride in any professional events. The event was a great turnout consisting of both previous professional men that did not place high enough last year and riders coming up to the big leagues from the Jr. pro Men division. There were about twenty riders total that entered the event on Saturday. After two rounds of elimination It ended up coming down to a four man final; Cristian Primrose, Ben Albright, Mike Dowdy, and myself.
